Accomplice's liability

If there are three persons A, B, and C. Person A decides to rob a store. Person B and C go along with the idea and follow person A in their own car. Person A is the one who breaks into the store and steals the items while person B drives a ''look out'' vehicle and person C is just occupying the vehicle in the passengers seat. Person C is an accomplice but what would be the most severe type of punishment he would receive for sitting in the vehicle and watching the crime take place?

That would depend on the extent of the crime(s) committed by the person in the store. Generally speaking, a party that aids, encorages, assists, etc., another with the commission of a crime is himself or herself criminally responsible for that crime as well.
