Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

im accused of agg assault with a deadly weapon against my ex. Her father is the one that pressed charges days after the incident. She had a scratch on her neck and a bruise from a different altercation with another female, but they took it as evidence against me. The ex had a diary also that depicted sexual fantasies involving a gun. But she has already told the detective and my attorney that the accusations are false. The detective looks like she is proceeding anyway and has not shown up to show evidence at my examination trial (texas). I am concerned she is going to continue avoiding until she gets an indictment from the grand jury.

First is my ex girlfriends diary admissable (its a few pages in a journal and extremely graphic) and second what can i do to make someone on the prosecution show up with the evidence in my examination trial instead of blowing it off? Third, I have no criminal history so would it be likely in my case to have a reduced charge and no jail time if I make a plea?
