Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Adjudicated Probation
When released from adjudicated
probation, how long does it take to be
removed from my record so I can
pass a background check. It was for
possession of under and ounce of
marijuana. First time ever in trouble.
Thank you for your time.

Re: Adjudicated Probation
Adjuducated probation? This would mean you either got deferred adjudication and messed up and were adjuducated, or you were given straight probation. If that is the case, then it will never come off your record.
If you successfully completed a deferred adjudication, you should be eligible to file a petition for non-disclosure to seal your record from most private entities.
Re: Adjudicated Probation
It will not be removed from your record. If you received deferred adjudicated probation, then you may qualify to have the record sealed. You should contact a lawyer to help you with the process.
