Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Advice
I've been going to court for about two years now on my case. Since then two officers handled my case, both which have now resigned or have been taken off the police force. What I want to know is can anyone pick up my case or do the original officers have to testify. Also how long do I have to continue going to court.

Not enough information in this question to make a meaningful reply. Are you a defendant? A victim? A witness? What charge? Are the officers the only witnesses?
Re: Advice
I am as baffled as Mr. McMillian, it appears in one part of your question that you are the defendant, but then later it appears you may be the witness, or victim. The only officers that can testify in your case are the officers that made the case in the beginning. If this case has been going for two years and you are the defendant you may want to talk with your attorney about speedy trial.
