Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Age in criminal court
is it legal or propper procedure to question a 17yr in a felony before being certified as an adult or before being indicted ? Or was a parent suppose to be present while the police questioned the suspect in efforts to get a confession ?

At 17, the individual is considered an adult in Texas.
