Aggravated armed robbery
my 19 year old son is in jail for aggravated armed robbery. his first offense. the attorney i hired is not working for us. i feel. i tried to fire him but he said court is a week away and it is too late. is that true. also am i able to talk to the prosecuting da myself?

You can fire your lawyer at any time. It is not too late. You can try to talk to the prosecuting da. However, they usually want to deal only with lawyers and victims.
