Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Aggravated Robbery
I was arrested for aggravated robbery on Jan. 23, 2004. I was not put in a physical lineup and I had people turn in statements. Does a physical lineup exist and what happens if the detective doesn't turn in the statements?

Re: Aggravated Robbery
We have no way of knowing what procedures the detectives used for identifying anyone involved in this case. When a physical lineup is not used in a case, the officers generally will use what is called a "photo spread." A photo spread consist of photographs of individuals believed to be possible suspects in a crime. As to the statements your friends turned in; if charges are filed, you need to inform your attorney about the statements so he can get copies of them at the appropriate time.
