Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Aggravated sexual assault

My husband was not charge with aggravated sexual assault, but he was accused of the crime, and DNA was granted, does this means he is suppose to be released because the court system is still holding hi, with out any more evidence. please help me. By the way, the DNA came back completely negative. Also the person that accused him boyfriend was also test what does that mean? They said something about if he was not a match that mean someone else did it, but he was 100% a match. Does this still means my husband will be of the hook because he has been detained in the jail facility for almost a year. Thank you!!
