Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Allegation: Agg Sex Asslt- Child, under 6 years
Penal System: Texas
Can a person be convicted solely off of a third party's statement? No physical evidence, no eye-witness and no statement from alleged victim. (IE- Wife says that the husband confessed to doing some inappropriate things.)
Looking for examples of cases, preferably in Texas in the last 10 years, where persons were or were not convicted with a lack of physical evidence.
