Re: allegations
Hello there,
Sexual assault allegations are very serious.
Since I do not know what allegations have been levied against you I cannot tell you what you punishment range is. But if there is alleged penetration, you are facing a punishment range anywhere from 5 to 99 years and up to a $10,000 fine if this is a child younger than 14.
But in regard to your question, there mere accusation can sometime be enough to obtain an indictment from a grand jury.
This doesn't mean they can prove there case though.
You need an attorney that specializes in Sexual Offense Crimes because your life is on the line.
This is an area that my office has a lot of experience in and we would be happy to answer any of your questions.
If I could give you any advice at this point it would be to not discuss this case with anyone. And I mean anyone.
Sincerely,
Erick Platten
