Apeals

If convicted of a non violant felony, how long do you have to apeal the decision?

In Texas you have thirty days to file for an appeal. If you dont, you can have your attorney file (beg) for an out of time appeal. If your attorney knows what he is doing he can usually get it done. THe real question is do you have anything to appeal. It may be that if your lawyer failed to file (perfect) an appeal that he may have futzed up the case so badly that you may have to fiel a writ of habeas corpus
