Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Appeals that will aid in the reduction of a sentence

I am looking for appeals that i can help my husband file on hi cse to reduce his sentence or get a new trial. He was charged with possesion and given 25 years and has never been in trouble with this type of offense ever. The court didn't give any type of evidence to link him to this crime and his lawyer misguided us both into thinking he would get probation. I really want to know what type of appeals can i file in order to help my husband? I appreciate your help

Unless you are an attorney, you will not be allowed to represent your husband in filing appeals. That is called Practicing Law without a licence and is a criminal and civil offense. Your husband can file an appeal himself and there are groups that assist prisoners with litigation. Have you spoken with an attorney to file an appeal? If you live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, please call me.
