Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I am applying for my insurance claim adjuster license in the state of texas. I am also on differed adjudication for possession of a controlled substance under 4grams (powder cocaine) also in the state of Texas. I have three more months on my differed adjudication and my charge will be dismissed. My question is do I have to put that on my application even if they ask? Also if I were to check yes on that box, would that keep me from getting my license?

There is no law requiring you to disclose anything but my guess is that they will do a background check and will find it. I suggest you research the adjuster licensing site to see if it would keep you from getting licensed. My guess is yes.
