Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Arraignment procedings
I have been given a date to appear for arraignment on a charge however I have not yet been arrested. Will I automatically be taken into custody at the arraignment? Can I file a waiver of arraignment the day my arraignment is set?

You may or may not be arrested. You also might be given bond at the arraignment. I would strongly advise hiring a lawyer before the arraignment.
