Arrest
Can you be convicted of Resisting Arrest if you can prove that your religous beliefs do not allow you to surrender or be willingly put into restraints, and you have advised the arresting officer(s) of that situation.

The burden would shift to you and your defense. This would be a matter for the jury to decide. The case would not be dismissed on religious grounds. I see you're from San Marcos. Call us if we can assist you. We handle a lot of cases in Hays County.
