Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was arrested (age 25) for public lewdness in 1996 in Houston, plead guilty, served 30-days community service. Is there any way to get this arrest off his record or sealed so potential employers dont see his arrest on record?

That is not correct. You either got deferred adjudication probation with some kind of community service (upon a guilty or no contest plea) or you got a dismissal after doing community service.
Contact a local lawyer who can run your record. If you got deferred, you can petition the court for nondisclosure (to seal your record). If the case was dismissed, you can file a civil lawsuit to expunge your record.
