Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was arrested for Agg. Assault w/a Deadly Weapon. Then on my court date, which was Oct. 14th of 2002 it was dropped to a Class A Misdemeanor Assault. I served my time and now have the worst time finding a job. Can I get my record expunged and if so how do I go about doing so.

You are never eligible to expunge arrest info if you were convicted of a charge arising out of the same criminal episode. Since you plead to a reduced charge, you are not eligible and barring being pardoned by the State of Texas for the entire thing, you cannot expunge this from your record.
