Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Arrested in April on a charge of aggravated assault, but have not been indicted. My last court date was in June at which time I secured counsel. I've been checking in with a bondsman every week with no upcoming court date. When I called to check in this week, they informed me I have an upcoming court date; however, I have received no communication from my attorney or received anything in the mail informing me of this court date. What could it be for? I haven't received any communication back from my attorney yet.

Assuming that the court has your correct address, you should receive something in the mail regarding your court date. You can call the court provide them with your information and ask if you have an upcoming court date and ask them the purpose of the hearing.
