Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was arrested and charged with possession of dangerous drugs in San Antonio, Texas. The so called dangerous drugs consisted of 3 of my prescribed blood pressure pills and 1 cholestorol pill along with an over the counter antacid pill. The officer verified the pills and said because they were not in the bottle it was a crime. Can I possibly be convicted of this bogus charge.

If you hire a lawyer and present proof that you have a valid prescription, there is a great chance the case will be dismissed. It is not legal to carry your prescriptions not in the original prescription bottle.
