Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was arrested for Class B misdemeanor theft in Texas I have never been in trouble before and I am wondering what kind of punishment I am facing I know what the state says my punishment could be but I am trying to get an idea of what I'm more than likely facing! Also I was wondering how much I can expect to pay an attorney to represent me?

It depends on the county and individual lawyer for the cost.
The maximum is 6 months in jail but as a first offender you are likely to be able to get a pretrial diversion which is a reset with conditions that can result in a dismissal.
You need a lawyer.
