I got arrested for driving while license suspended, because it was connected to a past DUI. How do I get out of this?

You need to contact DPS and find out why your license is still suspended. It may be because you need to take a course. It may be just because you have not paid a surcharge that is due. If it is only for a surcharge and you get it paid immediately and provide proof (and DPS then reinstates your license) then the State might dismiss your case.
