Based on what you have written, you may want to consider filing a petition to seal up your records. If you obtained probation, you may not qualify for sealing your records. You may want to consider reviewing your criminal file and verifying that you qualify under the law. If my law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact us at [email protected] to arrange for an initial consultation.

Basically what the previous answer is suggesting is looking into filing a petition for non-disclosure. If you received 5 years of deferred adjudication type of probation, you may be eligible to "seal" your records to prevent most private entities from knowing about it. If the probation you received was "straight" probation, and was not deferred, then you would not be eligible for a non-disclosure.

If you received regular probation, there is a conviction on your record. The only way to remove this conviction from your record would be for you to obtain a pardon from the governor and then have the conviction expunged.
