Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Arrested on probation

Iam on 10yrs Deffered Probation. I recently was ''arrested'' for an assault charge in which my ex-girlfriend was intentionally trying to get me into trouble. I have pictures of her drinking that night as well as an email confessing to me that the mark on her neck was not related to anything I had done to her (although she told the cops it did). Will probation file a motion to revoke for the new arrest or will i have to be either convicted or found not guilty on the new charge before probation makes a decision?

Re: Arrested on probation

They can file a motion to revoke prior to a conviction. It is important that you hire a lawyer to get the new charge recanted and/or dismissed, and handle the deferred at the same time.
