Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Assault Expunction
Can an assault charge that was deferred from about 5 years ago be expunged and taken off of your record? If it is expunged, this means the assault charge will not show up on any background checks performed, right?

Re: Assault Expunction
Maybe, if it was a Class C assault. If not you may be able to get an Order of NonDisclosure, so that it is hidden from all but 23 govt agencies.
