assault on a female
my friend hit his brothers wife and im not too familiar on what the texas laws are so i was wondering how long he would get for assault on a female
i was told his bail was 5000 dollars and he could get up to 6 years but he told me 3-6 months
what are the state laws on assault on a female and how much time can he get and how can he get time off his sentence

The charge and the sentencing depends entirely upon the severity of the assault, the severity of the injury, and if he charged with family violence. The end result will also depend on his prior history. He needs a lawyer.
