assault on a minor
my 16 year old daughter was physically assaulted by a 36 year old woman in the state of texas. how does the law punish this?

There are various levels of assault in criminal law, which speak to the circumstances, including the the level of injury. The various forms of criminal assault can be found in the Texas Penal Code, Chapter 22.
