Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
assault
I was physically assaulted at work by a coworker and my job did not take the proper action because they know i am quitting in one month. besides filing assault charges on the individual who assaulted me is there anything legally i can do about my job not taking the proper actions?

You can file a civil case against the coworker for assault, and if the employer knew or should have known that this person was going to assault you, or failed to provide the minimum necessary security you can sue the company as well. TCL
