Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
assault ticket
I was given a ticket for assault 9 days after the fact. The womans daughter was given a ticket for assaulting my daugher days later she went to the police dept. and lied and said I hit her they called me and then gave me a ticket. It was dated for the 27th when it was supposed to have happend on the 18th is this legal

You need to fight this ticket in court. Yes, it is legal. However, if wrong date of offense then you will win .
