Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was assaulted at a clothing store in Houston TX, the store said they didn't have the surveillance camera focused on the part of the store.. I filed a police report. How can I press charges if they don't have a video? We have their licence plate number.. Can we get some legal advice? Thanks.

You don't need a video. Your testimony alone is enough for an assault case. Most assault cases do not have anything but the testimony of the complainant.
