Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
a attempted murder charge and armed robbery with 15 year sentence
it wasnt actually a murder charge it was an attempted murder charge and that is 2 totally different charges. so do you think that he would still be able to do a post conviction writ or an appeal even if it has been a year sonce he was sentenced? Also, if we were to get him a lawyer then if he was to go back to court is it possible that he could get more time than what he already have or it can just stay the same or go down? How can we go about getting him a court appointed lawyer and is it still possible for him to get out on parole even if he is not eligible until 2020?
