Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Attorney conflict
I had posted a PR bond on a criminal trespass and my attorney who is my grandmothers brother in law took it upon himself to get a judge to reissue a warrant for arrest. So now I am in jail with no bond and I want to fire him and just do probation! He will not do what I want he is just letting me sit in jail. How can I fire him and just request probation for the charge? He does what my grandmother wants not what I want??? Is this not also a conflict of interest?? How can he keep me in jail, I have never been in trouble or on probation before???

Re: Attorney conflict
Send a letter to the attorney firing him. Additionally, send a letter to the prosecutor sttaing that you have fired your attorney and wish to plea bargain on your own behalf.
