Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Bail

was just fired from my job. I worked for a non-profit agency that is under a

federal grant. I have just undergone a divorce and am currently undergoing

bankruptcy. At a time of frustration I applied for credit online with one of

the employers information..with no intent of harm or use....I did not use

anything of it or anything at all...but he has pressed charges against me and

the legal detective that came to interview me told me i had no options but to

claim guilty. I have never been through such a thing and my record is clear of

anything i dont even have traffic violations! What can happen from this? Will

this be on my record? Can i bring down my bond if i get one? Please i dont

know what to do and it is SATURDAY evening there are no lawyers available at this

time!! What can i do .....what can i expect?

Re: Bail

It would be time to hire a lawyer. The first thing a lawyer is likely to tell you is to keep your mouth shut and not discuss the case with folks like investigators or detectives.
