Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

i was in a bmw dealership. with two of my friends, it was about 2 in the morning we went there just to look at cars, we were walking around and one of my friends saw that there was a bumper next to the trash can and he decided to pick it upas we were leaving this off duty police officer stopped us and started questioning us about why we were there and we told him we were looking at cars and he saw that bumper and grabbed it he got me and one my other friend for criminal tresspassing and my other friend that grabbed the bumper for class a theft and a class b tresspassing, neither me or my friend touched anything we were just there. i have had two class b's before both got dismessed but i dont wanna go to jail i have just started working and i dont want t screw it up one was for criminal tresspassing also and the other for graffiti.. i was caught riding a fourwheeler on the bayou, and i got acused for writing something on someones back yard. both got dismmesed bu i think they still show up.. happended in texas

So you were charged with Trespass at a car dealership? Were there signs posted telling you not to trespass? Did you jump a fence or anything? For a conviction of Trespass, there is a requirement under the law that you had notice you were not supposed to be there. Just being on the property of another is not enough by itself. If you jump a fence or something, notice is presumed because someone put up a fence to keep people out.

I would suggest getting yourself a lawyer who can look into this matter for you.
