Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
bond
If you get out on bond and then dont go to court can the court charge you with another charge? Can they charge you for violating bond, if so is it a felony?

If you don't go to court, then you are charged with failure to appear, the bond is revoked, and you are held in jail until your case is resolved, or until you can convince the judge to set a new bond; or reinstate the old bond.
