Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My name is Bonnie and I'll be 22 in a few days. I put a downpayment on a car in spring of 2010 only to have it repoed a month or so later because he didn't have record of me making my payment when I did. We agreed if I paid the repo guy his $100 he'd take me to my car. He found out how I was making a living and says "well if I would've known you were a stripper, you coul've kept the $100" I let it go and got my car and left. a few weeks later the car breaks down again so I've been looking into lemon laws until my car ran out of gas yesterday and the repo guy scares me into surrendering my keys by saying i had a warrant for grand theft auto and the cops were coming but "we can take a ride around the block and you can keep your car" i run home. my mom calls the police for sexual harassment and long story short they didnt even have a repo form from a judge so I was given my car back but a female officer told my mom to check iinto suing them because charges could'nt be pressed on hearsay but a report was filed. Was she right??? She said its not only sexually harassment but attempt to falsy repo my car or possibly lemon laws for it breaking down all the time and being sold with a check engine light on. which I already had to give on car back for that when i took it to a mechanic and there was a crack in the transmission...

You have two problems, the car and the guys harrassing you.
I suggest you file a complaint with your local District Attorney's office regarding the harrassment. Contact a local consumer attorney with help regarding your car and lemon laws.
