Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was booked on burglary of motor vehicle. My question is if I didn't actually break into the car but, an accessory to it. Would I be charged for BMV or aiding and abetting to the crime?

In Texas, when one is an accomplice to a crime then one is charged the same as the primary actor. So, you would properly be charged with BMV and you are facing the same punishment as the primary actor.
It is a class A misdemeanor which carries up to 1 year in jail & up to a $4,000 fine. Most judges and prosecutors take it more seriously than a misdemeanor, though, because it was previously a felony charge. You need a good lawyer.
