Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

My boyfriend was arested tonight on Felony 2, possesion with intent to sell of marijuana. They found the marijana in the apartment that he was staying at. The drugs were his roommates and he is not on the apartment lease. However, numerous people pointed him and his two roommates out as drug sellers. He does not sell nor do drugs but has had trouble in the past with drugs. He was the only one arrested and as of now all charges are against him. What would be the best way to handle the situation. I know I need a lawyer but what would be the best advance right now?

You don't need a lawyer. Your boyfriend does. Beyond finding one for him, you should look into finding him a bail bondsman to get him out of jail so he can look for an attorney. Another good idea would be to to write down information that would be useful to the attorney. Get a copy of the police report. How about a copy of the apartment lease to show that the items were not in his apartment. Names and contact info of other people at the party.
