Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

My boyfriend was arrested June of 2012 for 1,500-20K theft. He pleaded guilty through adjucation of guilt motion and was given three years of probation. He stopped going to his probation officer in August 2012 and had a warrant for his arrest since December 2012. He was pulled over for a traffic violation February 8. They ran his license saw he had a warrant and arrested him. The arresting officer searched his car and found 4.9 grams of Marijuana and charged him with a class B Misdemeanor for which he got 10 days in jail. He has court on Monday February 18th for the Felony due to the probation violation. His mother and I are planning for 6 months to 2 years jail time for him. This is his first arrest and first felony charge. Is he eligible for Shock Probation or the boot camp program?

He is eligible for shock but it is highly unlikely he will get it unless he has some VERY convincing explanations for his failure to report. Had he turned himself in (and NOT gotten a new case - obviously he was still out there violating the law), then he would have had a decent chance at shock (depending on the judge, obviously.)
