Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My boyfriend is currently incarcerated for evading arrest and a parole violation. His parole officer issued a blue warrant before he was jailed. He's been locked up almost a year.. my questions are: 1. Haven't they violated his right to a speedy trial? 2. Can any attorney get his warrant lifted? I have one who claims he can... I just wanna make sure he's not trying to sucker us all.
