Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
my boyfriend is in jail on DWLI (texas) and has a pending terroristic threat on a public servant. how will they class his charge misdemeanor A B OR C? what punishment could he be facing?

Terroristic threat against a public servant is a Class A misdemeanor which carries a potential sentence of up to 1 year in jail & a $4,000 fine. The DWLI is of much less concern than the terroristic threat. If you can get his license situation cleared up (contact DPS to see what the problem is - it might just be that he owes a surcharge), then they might even dismiss that case.
