Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
breach of contract
I entered into a contract with an individual that I provided money for the individual to purchase and resell vehicles at auction. The individual in 18 months never made any attempt to purchase the vehicles. He used the money in excess of 100,000. personally. He told me weekly that he was purchasing the vehciles, what kind and how many etc. This was all lies. My question is: Is this just a civil breach or contract or a criminal breach? This is in the state of Texas. Thanks

Re: breach of contract
There is no such thing as a criminal breach of contract. You can sue if you want and that would be a civil lawsuit. Also, if you think this person stole money, then you can report the theft to the police.
