Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My brother was charged with poss controlled sub > 400g 1st degree felony. The prosecution filed an indictment stating this charge which is incorrect, the real charge is poss controlled substance 4 < 200g. This happened in Texas what can we do about this?

Hire a lawyer to review the case and represent your brother. It is a serious charge either way but the state will have to prove the amount.
