Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
burglary of a coin operated machine
My brother was working a vending route when he borrowed a large sum of money from me. He gave me a set of keys to his machines as collateral. One day he told me to go and get a certain amount from the machines which i did. The company he was working under found out and took a way his route now he's pressing charges against me for burglary of a coin operated machine. Can i fight this? He gave me the keys and told me which machine to get it out of.

Of course you fight it. Whether or not you prevail is another issue. Only an attorney working on the case, reviewing the evidence and negotiating on your behalf can truly answer your questions.
