burglary of a habitat
a friend now in prison with charge above.she was residing there and they had been fighting he has dropped the charges and she did not enter house.she feels like a domestic dispute would be fare

If your friend is in prison, then she has been convicted already, and the only options are appellate ones. Your statement about dropping the charges doesn't make sense if she is already convicted.
