Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I you are called into the TXDPS and told you were being charged with criminal negligent homicide after an auto accident you caused that killed 2 people should you not have to be arrested, arraigned, and then bail or bond set?

If you are called in, it is likely because they are conducting an investigation. Because the offense was not committed in their presence, they must obtain a warrant to arrest you - they can't just arrest you days / months later. Once a warrant issues, they can then go arrest you and a bond will be set.
