Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
capital murder wrongly accused
a person is charged with capital murder.then a 2nd and 3rd person are charged with same murder because they had the murder weapon and confessed.The 3 accused don't know eachother.will they dismiss the charges against the 1st person when they can't connect the 3?Can they charge all?Or will they drop all circumstantial evidence against 1st person and just convict 2nd and 3rd person.

Is this a law school question, or a real problem?
If it is a law school question, then you need to do the research.
If it is a real problem, then there should already be a minimum of 3 lawyers involved -- they are better equipped to answer this question.
