Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
on going car sale
I bought a car three months ago and was given a loaner to get to work and back, I was told my car would be done by the end of that week. It has been three months and the loaner car broke down and my car still isnt ready. I asked for my money back and I was told that if I got my money back he would charge me for using the loaner car even though I was never told I would have to pay to use it or I wouldnt have used it

Re: on going car sale
There may be different opinions on this, but I don't see a criminal charge here. You do have grounds for a civil lawsuit, and depending upon the amount of money involved, you might be able to file it yourself in JP court. If this is a dealer, and not a private person, you can also file a complaint with DOT.
