Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I have a case pending which is a felony. My lawyer wants me to plead guilty to a misdemeanor Class A and paid $5500 in restitution with deferred adjudication. I asked for a dismissal if I agree to the restitution. I believe I can beat this in front of a juror with the evidence I have but I take a chance of being found guilty. Which one is worse on my criminal record ?

You have a lawyer, and need to discuss this with your lawyer. These are issues which are central to your case, and your lawyer knows all of the facts and options for you. An acquittal after jury trial is always preferable, and is also a crap shoot. There are many innocent people in jail and walking around with convictions.
