Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Can you change the way a charge is worded after you have pled guilty?
If you have pled guilty to "possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance" but the paperwork reads "possession with intent to manufacture and deliver a controlled substance, can it be changed to what you have actually pled guilty to?

You are entitled to be informed of the exact charge to which you are pleading guilty. The statute, however, reads "manufacture or deliver" so you probably have no beef.
Check with the lawyer who advised you to plead guilty.
