Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
change in law
if I was sentenced under one legistlation, and the legistlation changes while I'm serving this sentence and the apply this to the outcome of my sentence, is there anyway to fight this?

It depends. Sometimes, particularly when a ruling affects a constitutional issue, the law applies to all persons convicted of the offense/under the circumstances. Other times, the law does not apply to prior offenses.
It will require research, and possibly a few test cases.
